In my artistic practice, I explore the interplay between technology, human connection, and the transient nature of our modern culture.
My current series focuses on oil paint portraits on discarded and damaged iPhone screens, emphasizing the intricacies and character of people's eyes. With the direction of Western culture, digital reliance and Capitalist goals, I question the impact on our humanity. How do we maintain grace and optimism?
The discarded and damaged iPhone screens symbolize the transitory nature of technology, while the timeless medium of oil painting represents the enduring essence of human expression.
